Documentary
I believe there are compelling stories all around us and get tremendous creative satisfaction from utilizing the tools of cinema to make beautiful, entertaining, emotionally resonant and thought-provoking films from real life stories. My style as a documentary filmmaker is character-driven and commercially viable. I have been commissioned to direct short form character-profile documentaries for clients ranging from non-profits to small businesses to major brands. I am currently in post-production on Manhattan Lullaby, a feature documentary about Colony Records, a landmark of New York City’s cultural history and one of the last independently owned record stores in America.
