Narrative

My unique narrative directing style is informed by my experiences studying Film History, Theory and Criticism at Columbia and inspired by a broad range of entertaining movies and tv shows. Having written my masters thesis at Oxford on screwball comedy of the 1930s, I have a deep understanding of comic timing, nuanced dialogue performance and physical comedy. I enjoy working with talented actors to bring life to witty, intelligent scripts. From several years of working in vérité documentary film, I have developed a naturalistic visual style that lends itself well to low budget filmmaking.
